There were 143 submissions to animate! tv’s latest commissioning round, 72 from London and 71 from rest-of-UK. Six projects have been chosen to share the annual production funding provided by Arts Council England and Channel 4 Television.

The artists in animate! tv’s new slate for 2005 are **Sebastian Buerkner** Fact, **Joji Koyama** From Nose to Mouth, **Osbert Parker** Head Over Heels, **AL + AL** Interstellar Stella, **Inger Lise Hansen** Proximity and **Monika Forsberg** & **Susie Sparrow** We Believe in Happy Endings.

[Their projects](https://animate.org.uk/films/) will be completed in summer 2006 and broadcast by Channel 4 in the autumn.

The animate! advisory selection team included:

- **Ben Cook** Director of LUX and LUXONLINE

- **Gareth Evans** writer, Editor of *Vertigo* magazine, and independent programmer

- **Ceri Hand** Director of Exhibitions FACT Liverpool

- **Rosie Pedlow** filmmaker, and previous animate!-maker

- **Gary Thomas** Senior Officer Moving Image Visual Arts at Arts Council England

- **Ruth Fielding** Animation Consultant to Channel 4, and producer at Lupus Films

- **Jacqui Davies** Line Producer for animate! commissions, and independent producer

- **Dick Arnall** animate! Producer, and producer at Finetake
