Run Wrake’s animate! commission [Rabbit](https://animate.org.uk/films/rabbit/) won two major categories in the British Animation Awards 2006 on 9 March - *Best Short Film* and *Best Film at the Cutting Edge*.

And David Shrigley & Chris Shepherd’s animate! [Who I Am and What I Want](https://animate.org.uk/films/whoiamandwhatiwant/) shared the *Public Choice Best Short Film* Award with Gaelle Denis’ [City Paradise](https://web.archive.org/web/20070828013829/http://mag.awn.com/index.php?article_no=2760&page=2).

The two other finalists for BAA *Best Short Film* were Damian Gascoigne’s animate! commission [Careful](https://animate.org.uk/films/careful/) and Osbert Parker’s **Film Noir**. Ossie is currently making [Head Over Heels](https://animate.org.uk/films/yourstruly/) funded by animate!.

[British Animation Awards](http://britishanimationawards.com/) is held biennially in London and brings together the highlights of two years of British animation.
