#### short biography

AL + AL graduated in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins School of Art in 2001. They subsequently received studio awards from ACAVA and Acme to build a live-and-work blue screen special effects studio in London. Their work has attracted an international audience through film festivals, site-specific installations, gallery exhibitions and television. Their previous animate! commission [Perpetual Motion in the Land of Milk and Honey](https://animate.org.uk/films/perpetualmotion/), their first film for television, was winner of the Centre of Attention Arts Prize in 2005.
