**Room Service** a film by Sylvie Bringas

2001, 5 min 05 sec

### animate! synopsis

Appearances are all – or are they – in this jazz-inflected chamber piece (for maid and mistress) on the sensual solitude of women. Check into the Edward Hopper hotel and role reversal might be more than skin deep. For sure the distress is not just on the painted surface.
Live action, action painting? Your choice, your dream, your isolation, your identity charade.

### one sentence synopsis

One guest, one chambermaid, one hotel room.
