## animate! tv

The animate! project challenges the boundaries of animation through production funding, discussion and screenings.

[78 innovative films](https://animate.org.uk/films/) supported by animate! since 1990 have established an international reputation for thoughtful and diverse practice.

## animate! tv 2005 submissions closed

The submission deadline for animate! tv 2005 was 29 April. Six new UK-based [projects](https://animate.org.uk/films/) were selected, funded by Arts Council England and Channel 4 for completion in summer 2006 and broadcast by Channel 4 in the autumn.

We hope to commission more UK-based projects in 2006.
