[84 innovative films](https://animate.org.uk/films/indexdate) supported by animate! tv since 1990 have established an international reputation for thoughtful and diverse practice. ## Submissions closed for 2006 The submission deadline for this year's funding was 31 March and the final [slate](https://animate.org.uk/films/) of animate! tv commissions was announced at the end of May. We hope to be commissioning more UK-based projects in early 2007.
